Project Details

Interior design plays a significant role in a customer’s decision making, whether they want to come back to a same restaurant or not. That’s why Bariuma Ramen Citywalk Gajahmada worked together with Highstreet to create an interior design that suits their best interest. This Japanese restaurant was built on a 143 sqm land in Citywalk Gajahmada, Floor 1, Jalan Gajah Mada No. 211, Gajah, Jakarta.

High Street Studio finished its interior design in 2018. Our design team created its restaurant interior design that is inspired by the simplicity and warmth of Japanese culture. The restaurant features an interior design that gives off comfortable vibes. Warm wood tones and bright red finishing create a comfortable environment for dining with friends and families.

Furthermore, in order to make a more enjoyable dining experience for customers, High Street Studio created an open outlet (only at one side of its wall), and double side access or entrance to welcome customers. The design team also created an open kitchen to showcase sanitary processes and the steps taken to turn fresh, high-quality ingredients into each mouth-watering meal in this restaurant. No blocking partition to the neighboring tenant is also made to let customers enjoy and feel the restaurant’s energy.

To ensure customers feel comfortable, the distance between pieces of furniture must be appropriate. High Street Studio is also aware that the size and layout compositions are important to complement the restaurant’s interior design. Meanwhile, to create a more enjoyable look, Highstreet also uses some good materials like laminated wood, solid wood, and natural stone. Several Japanese paintings, caricatures, and ornaments are featured to help strengthen the identity of Bariuma Ramen.
