You see, aside from ancient monuments and unique scenic areas, the Baan Pomphet site is a dream for a hotel or a restaurant. This 160 seat restaurant with eight hotel rooms is located just north of Bangkok Ayuthya which is home to local heritage and is embodied in a contemporary design that makes guests immerse themselves in culture. The interior designer and architect from Bangkok are very concerned about the specific quality of the environment which allows them to develop the experience of being in a spatial space that is designed for individuals.
Hotel-Restaurant Design in Thailand
The place, designed to overlook the river meeting place of Pa Sak and Chao Phraya Thailand, is known as Baan Pomphet and takes its name and inspiration from Pom Phet, a fort located in the southeast. The layout of the hotel design is designed to revolve around the scene in the place. The design team separated the building for the rooms and the restaurant to simultaneously maximize visitor privacy. This hotel-restaurant design allows the circulation point to enter via the main route that opens to the waterfront. This space, apart from being designed near the swimming pool, was adjacent to a wooden wall swirling around the tree and was carefully preserved during the construction process. This hotel-restaurant innovation has a unique and beautiful design. Who will not be amazed if you visit these hotel-restaurants?
The Baan Pomphet design has clear design similarities to Pom Phet in its main ingredient, brick. The choice of mini main material aims to design around the building with white bricks and cement, interior designers and architects choose to use bricks which have four different sizes from hand-made bricks with the orange colour which makes the atmosphere in the hotel-restaurant feel comfortable and calming, while the width and thickness are designed the same. The main building blocks of brick are also installed in six different wall and floor patterns. These hotels-restaurants want to present diverse and natural facades, while many other designs prefer to stabilize the quality and colour of the building materials.
The interior design of this hotel and restaurant building is made to blend in with the colour and selects the natural air system by providing ventilation to the interior. Cha-Plu leaves and jackfruit are frequently used ingredients in Thai cuisine, and in the Baan Pomphet kitchen to add greens and yellows to guest rooms, this new palette scheme will create the ideal colour contrast with simple ingredients and complex details in its designs. Then what about the restaurant? The orange colour complements the exterior brick structure of the hotel-restaurant. Chanang, a tool often used in Thailand to catch shrimp and fish in sugnan, is being reused as an interior decoration of this hotel-restaurant by using it as a chandelier in the room, while the details of this equipment are replicated on the walls.
This hotel and restaurant is not the only role played by Baan Pomphet, there are also family home designs that develop designs for private family rooms designed above the restaurant kitchen using the same natural materials, brick, wood, iron, and tiles. handcrafted ceramics are applied to the entire room to enhance the warmth of a house.
